Hanoi Market, KFC and Swan Boats

Market

We went to the market. The stores in Fort Collins are way different because where you get stuff there is not a certain lady selling stuff to you. In Vietnam at every stall there is a certain lady selling you something. The market was very strange because it was so crowded with people from different people at the exact same time. In Fort Collins you collect all the stuff you need and then you go to the check out area. They were sell all types of things. There were cozy things, good things to eat, clothes, turtles, fish, all sorts of things.

Kentucky Fried Chicken

We went to an American restaurant. It was Kentucky Fried Chicken. It tasted very delicious. It was a 6 story restaurant. I liked it very much because I got to eat American food and it gave me a break from all the rice I have to eat.

Swan Boats

We went for a swan boat ride today. I got to pedal. My little sister who is 5 got to steer and my mom pedaled too. We needed two boats because the guy said we couldn't take one boat for 5. My dad and my other sister went in a swan boat they both steered and they both pedaled. They lake we went to was the lake John McCain crashed his plain into in the Vietnam war.

Check our Alison's new blog post right after this one!

  1. Wow that market looks really interesting. I just don't know what I would do with a bucket of squid! The swan boats look like so much fun. I know that Kentucky Fried Chicken tasted great!

  3. The swan boats look like fun. I bet you got a workout! I think I'd choose KFC over squid too. :)
